dremel 4000 review
Chances are if you're reading this, then you've either wanted a Dremel tool for a long time or you're looking to replace an old worn out model. For me, it was replacing an old worn out Dremel model. I've had my previous Dremel tool for over 5 years and used it on a regular basis to do all sorts of things. In fact, I probably used it to do a few things that I shouldn't have, which may have caused its demise! But I can say that it was one tough tool even though it was a little underpowered for some of the jobs I used it for. When I first bought it, I fell for the "Oh I'll only use it every once in a while, no use buying the most powerful model". It seems whenever I buy something with this thought, I end up regretting not getting the most powerful one I can. So with this still fresh in my mind, I bought one of the most powerful models that Dremel has, I bought the Dremel 4000-6/50 120-Volt Variable-Speed Rotary Kit.

I have plenty of Dremel tools so I really didn't need the kit. But it has some attachments and tools that I don't have, so I bought it. Besides, buying all the kit saves me money over buying them individually later on. I figured I saved over $100 by buying the kit instead of individual tools, especially if you figure in shipping and handling.

Not only is this new Dremel more comfortable than my old model, it's really powerful and easier to control. You know how important this is if you've used a low powered model to try and force your way through a project. Its slim, ergonomic body provides a 360-degree grip zone in every position for improved precision, while a variable-speed slide allows for both fast speed adjustment and consistency at your selected speed. It's speed range is in the 5,000 to 35,000 rpm range.

This Dremel 4000 6/50 High Performance rotary tool comes with 50 genuine Dremel accessories; six attachments; Quick Start book; and storage case.
