Cheap Knives For Everyday Use

Knives are one of the most important hand tools that man has ever invented. I know it's hard to think that a simple piece of steel with one or two sharpened edges has done so much for man kind, but it has! Ask five people what their favorite knife is and you'll get eight different answers! That's how passionate people are about their knives.

I love knives too. I probably have more knives than the average guy, but I do use them for everything from gardening, hunting and camping to opening packages. I have knives in every tool box and in each vehicle as well as several scattered around the house!

The best place I've found to buy knives is Amazon.Com. I know it sounds silly, but Amazon does have the lowest prices on knives that I've found on the Internet. Sure, every once in a while I'll find some place that has a sale on one or two knives that may be a few pennies cheaper than Amazon, but day in and day out, Amazon will have the best prices on knives. Which Knife Do I Need?

Although I can't possible cover every knife for every situation that comes along, especially in your world, I can give you some general guildelines.

Gerber knives, Buck Knives and Benchmade make some great general purpose carry knives. They'll serve you well and are great for nearly anything that might pop up.
SOG and Spyderco knives make some of the best tactical knives on the planet. I have several of both and they've never left me down and they're well made. Visit Amazon to see the hundreds of positive reviews each brand has from customers all over the world.
The knive I've been carrying in my pocket for several months now is a Kershaw Skyline and sometimes I carry a Schrade pocket knife when I have to get dressed up and go out on the town. These are some of my favorite knives. But make no mistake about it, I don't use my good knives when I'm working on something that I know I may damage a knife, for those moments, I rely on my cheap knives. If I damage one, no problem, I just get another one!
