The Paslode 900420 Cordless IMCT Framing Nailer is the most convenient solution to portable nailing operations. Basic specifications

On a typical workday, the Paslode Nailer can drive several thousand nails at a cycle rate of 2 to 3 nails per second. Although the motor can do higher cycle rate, operating beyond the rate of 3 nails per second is not recommended since it can lead to overheating. And let's be honest, how many of us can realistically and accurately drive more than 2 nails per second? That's what I thought! Nails are stored on the nail strip with five fasteners.

The portable design of this nailer has dimensions 14.5 inches in height and 12 inches in length and weighs just 7.3 pounds with battery. A 6-volt DC battery provides enough energy, which is equivalent to driving 4,000 fasteners from a full charge. For a more cost-effective alternative, fuel cell power source can also be used. A red fuel cell liquid hydrocarbon weighing just 1.32 ounce can drive up to 1,200 fasteners. Compared to conventional rechargeable batteries, the red fuel cell can be charged more quickly.

Something to Be Aware Of...

Many of you will already know this, but this cordless nailer does not function at high altitudes. Some of the reviews said it wouldn't function above an altitude of 4500 feet while others said that Customer Service said it was not designed to operate above 5000 feet. This is due to the fact that it uses fuel cells and those cells need oxygen to combust and create energy. Just be aware of this if you live in the Mountains!
